Constanza Petrazzini

StaffExecutive Support Administrator

Bio

Constanza began volunteering with HOT’s Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Hub in October 2023, supporting events in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she is currently based. From the outset, she was enthusiastic about HOT’s mission and its capacity to impact lives and empower local communities. Specially by creating geographical data using open-source technology to address critical humanitarian and development needs.

In December 2023, Constanza formally joined HOT and is now the Executive Support Administrator for both Global team and LAC Hub, all while continuing her studies in Development at the Faculty of Social Science at the Universidad de la Republica (UdelaR) in Uruguay. She initially contributed in documenting Hub’s work, event participation, supporting the open-mapping for all (OM4A) educational project, while helping shape a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for communities, as well as dedicating her time to general communications and research. Additionally, she’s currently working closely with the co-Executive Directors in administrative and business operations, exploring regional funding opportunities and building partners and donor relationships.

Beyond her professional life, Constanza enjoyes running along one of the world’s longest continuous sidewalks, La Rambla, alongside the Río de la Plata. She also dances candombe, trains personal defense, and occasionally plays football.
