Support our work in the Open Mapping Hub - West and Northern Africa
HOT's West and Northern Hub is coordinating with local communities to map the areas affected by the earthquake and floods in order to provide reliable, up-to-date map data to humanitarian actors on the ground. Your donations are crucial to keep this work going.
If you are an organization and would like to contribute to HOT's mission-critical work to partner with local communities, please reach out to donations@hotosm.org

Millions of people around the world are still not represented on maps. As a result, their voices are not heard and they are left out of access to basic services and are not included in relief operations when disasters strike.
Mapping enables individuals and communities to leverage technology for local development and helps decision-makers to respond to disasters and better allocate resources to the improvement of public health, water, sanitation, and hygiene, early childhood development and education, infrastructure, and to better reach target communities.
Since 2017 your generous support has enabled us to provide community grants, tools, and training to open mapping communities around the world. We’ve seen the remarkable impact of this program not just on local communities, but the grantees themselves. These dedicated local leaders work tirelessly to make sure that their communities are visible on the map, and that maps are used for impact.
