Sam Colchester

Global Disaster Response Advisor / Spain

Sam's role at HOT involves ensuring that open mapping responses to global disasters occur in a timely and effective manner, thereby meeting the data needs of responding organizations. This also involves close collaboration with the Missing Maps members and other heavy users of HOT's Tasking Manager.

Sam has a background in geospatial, with a Masters degree in Geospatial Analysis from University College London. He became a HOT Voting Member in May 2019 and discovered humanitarian mapping through the Missing Maps Project in 2015.
