Dana De Guzman

Senior Associate, MERL

Dana works as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Associate at HOT. She brings in over ten years of experience in areas of Education, Environment, Health, Human Rights, Gender, Public Governance, and Inclusive Innovation.

Prior to HOT, Dana designed and conducted Monitoring & Evaluation plans and research with government agencies, non-profits, and international organizations. Under the UNIID-Southeast Asia, she helped co-develop Inclusive Innovation Hub, an open education platform with universities and research councils in the region.

Dana is an EvalYouth Asia member. She also is a graduate of BFA Information Design, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from the Ateneo De Manila University.

Mapping of Public Health Facilities Supporting Polio Eradication

The project in Indonesia has transformed lives by training over 90 individuals and mapping 900+ kilometers of roads, 90,000 buildings, and targeting 200+ households for polio immunization. This data enabled the Indonesian Red Cross to analyze polio immunization progress and prioritize health promotion efforts. This has empowered communities and improved access to essential services, making a tangible difference in people's daily lives.
